Labotemp Sand Dust Test Chamber SDC-04 provides a controlled environment for evaluating the resistance of products exposed to airborne sand and dust under simulated field conditions. Designed for precise dust testing and sand testing, this dust test chamber features a 1000 L stainless steel workspace, ambient to +50°C temperature capability, humidity below 30% RH, and programmable blowing and test durations of up to 99 h 59 min. The chamber is designed for IP5X and IP6X dust ingress testing based on IEC 60529 and ISO 20653 test methods, making it suitable for electronics, automotive components, electrical enclosures, military equipment, lighting products, and industrial assemblies. A programmable color LCD touch-screen controller with Ethernet and USB connectivity, along with a 16 A dust-proof specimen power outlet, enables flexible and efficient test management.

The SDC-04 combines a vertical airflow circulation design with a vibration-assisted hopper to maintain consistent dust suspension throughout the test cycle, preventing powder accumulation and ensuring repeatable testing conditions. A Nichrome heating system keeps the circulating talcum powder dry for stable performance, while the vacuum system, pressure gauge, regulator, and air filter accurately simulate real-world dust ingress conditions. Constructed with a corrosion-resistant SUS304 stainless steel interior and protected by multiple safety functions including over-temperature, over-current, earth leakage, and phase-sequence protection, the chamber provides dependable long-term operation. A 7-inch programmable touch-screen controller, built-in LED observation lighting, viewing window, and electromagnetic door lock simplify operation while enhancing user safety and test reliability.
